Oregon really knows how to kill industry in the state
Let's see... Widmer 6 packs are already $9.49 at the grocery store. No one in their right mind would pay that as is. This will only stand to increase it even more.
We already bring in our liquor from California where the taxes are lower. But at least that does not affect local jobs. This would in a major way.
Oregon Politicians FTMFL.

Actually a barrel is 31 gallons (equal to 2 kegs or 4 pony kegs)
So by my quick math, that makes it roughly $.20 per pint, but with margins added and distributer cuts, they're figuring the poor drinking public will get hit an extra $1.25 a pint? OUCH!

Maybe reasonable to bump it up to 8$ a barrel to be in line with rest of PNW, but not ~$49+. That is
out of line! The parasite that lives off taxes should not kill off it's host....
