The layout for the first round of the Volkswagen Audi Group Motorsport Series has been finalised, and to say it will be fast and furious is an understatement...
As the first round is a short twilight event (4 hrs track time), all general track day attendees and competitors alike will be split into two equal groups. The group you are in will be dependent on your experience level and / or your personal best times recorded at Eastern Creek.
To give participants maximum track time, both groups will have 20min sessions i.e. 20mins on track time, 20mins off / cool down time, 20mins on track time, etc. from 17:00 to 21:00.
All prizes and awards for the Peak Performance Eastern Creek Twilight Event will be announced online, with winners personally contacted and awards handed out at the next round in February.
Entry has also been extended with competitors now allowed to complete their VAG MS registration forms on the day - the $50 entry fee is payable in cash only if paying on the day.
As there are limited spots left available (10 positions out of 55 remaining at the time of this announcement) we urge interested parties to register and secure their positions on the starting grid now to avoid disappointment.
We look forward to seeing you behind the wheel, as pit crew and as spectators this Friday night for what is going to be one action packed round.
