it's got to be some kind of stunt. anyone who actually cares about getting the car early could have paid to have it by now. parts not worth the risk. and I agree that the sign is strange - from a PR POV, it would be better to simply put another car in place and ignore the whole issue... there's something else at work here, since it's not even close to a 'normal' theft or a 'normal' response.
