Default Don't know about M/F, but I know the exact spot the cop was sitting..

based on your ticket, I bet you were on that straight-away about 3/4 of a mile before Ludingtonville Road and the trooper was under the bridge in the middle. Or possibly at the turn around, but I'm betting he was under the bridge.

I drive that every day. The only good thing about that bridge is you have a good look at the cars passing the cop from about 1/2 mile behind, so you can see the brake lights.

That's a nasty spot there. A lot of times you can fly up Stormville Mountain (just after the Taconic) and then you can keep up a good clip (80+) at the top of the hill until that spot.

Sorry to hear about the ticket.

I don't know about a bridge, but I was right at the top of a hill, and he was right at the bottom.

Default I called up my lawyer...

He told me it's a technicality... I can use it in my defense, but the judge can also not buy it and I'd be fvcked... so if I get a 'great' plea.. take it, and if not use it.

Which is exactly what I thought.

He doesn't sit there too often, that's about 1 mile before the bridge.

Default Weird.. it's on my drive back from school..

And I've definitely uhhh... gone uhh... you know, a little over 75.. NEVER seen a cop there before.

He sent out a laser, pulled over to the side, got out of his car, and had everyone in the slow lane pull to the side.

Default rule number 1 always always fight a ticket. it cant be worse than what they nailed you for, but they

can bump it down to a lower point or no point infraction and reduce the number of points. i have never plead guilty to a ticket and **knocks on wood** have zero points on my license...always fight the ticket. i do also have the whole Im a nurse/paramedic thing in my corner, but fight the ticket anyway, they may bump it down to something lower.
