The logistics behind it were insane...I could try messaging one of the vw organizers to see
if they would be interested in putting another one together.
At worst we can just have a meet where we all pool money and donate one large check as a group to the Red Cross. We should be able to raise at least $1,000 but hopefully more.

Or we can have multiple spots raising money...I know a lot of people like the edgewater NJ gtg's, some prefer the brooklyn gtg's and I know there are people in CT and northern burbs as well.
Be great if everyone could donate...with the amount of people here we should be able to raise over $1,000 easily (hopefully if we are all generous).

my company's CEO is matching employee contributions 4 to 1. I don't post on AW anymore but some AW guys I've known for years (Raj and DigitalAlex) spread the word over here and they've been donating. We're up to $630 donated so far, which means $2520 will be added to the total we give. Verification of the total receipts and total donation receipt will be provided. I won't accept any donations after Friday.
Paypal donations only due to the time constraint:
