It really was!! Back then $500 for a cell phone was not um.. "affordable"

like it is today.

Everyone, his brother & friends did NOT have one.

My uncle had one

he was a surgeon - and at that age, def. associated him w/ everything bAllAr.

His other phone was the built-in ones inside his 911.

Wanna see something cool..this link I have from 2000 model year still works..

when I was "shopping" my 5 series BMW, and all they offered as an option was the huge handset cell phone.
