car is 'intact' as they said.
wheels are still there.
lights are still there.
interior is still there.
nothing was stolen from the car other than personal items.
such as... stuff from my glovebox:
the ring (oh well.)
valentine 1
old spice deodorant
ezpass
gas card
all my cd's that my girlfriend made for me.
i'll have pictures later.
oh, and one more thing..
the car doesn't start. i checked the gas gauge and it was empty, so i went and got a couple gallons of gas. put that in the car. car still doesn't start. note there is no ignition still so i was just using my key as they used a screwdriver to start the car. i took video of it to see if anyone could identify the noise, which i will have up later.
AND SO...
i need recommendations for body/mechanic shop. insurance will cover the tow no matter where i go, so anywhere in the state (even new york i guess).
things i will need fixed:
fender damage
front valence damage (cracked)
ignition (duh)
new door handle, body patched up (rear door handle mod plz)
if anyone knows a single shop that will do all this (i am assuming C&D?) let me know, i'll need to tell insurance asap.

glad to hear it buddy.. i hope the ring was insured
if not then make sure you insure the next one right away..
i am sure your car insurance covers items in the car.. (fingers crossed)

I have an excellent body shop for you in queens....
email for more info, if interested. It is a friend of mine so he will make sure you get the best service. Alsothey are the dealer,certified body shop for bayside bmw.
name of the shop is V&S motorservice and auto body. the owner is on the boards, name is Black4.2S4Vin, you can do a search and see pics os his shop i think.

guess the needed the deoderant?? lol
startnge that they didnt strip the car, and took a bunch of basicallty worthless stuff, cd's, deoderant, ezpass which i am sure you have cancelled... stupid thieves!
