Default I am sure I can finally make an Audi drive..

Will have the GF in tow, so probably can't drive too crazy, that and my tires are in need of replacement badly.

I know Taner - not until they're corded!!

Default UPDATE! MEETING PLACE INSIDE...

We will be meeting at Robertson Sports Park in the parking lot in the right side of S. Livermore Ave. (FYI, N. Livermore Ave. turns into S. Livermore Ave. as you go South...duh!) The parking lot is just before Cocannon Dr./Wente St. if you are using Mapquest. The address is as follows (also on link):

3200 Robertson Park Rd.
Livermore, CA.

I drove the route today and here are a few observations:
Overall the roads look pretty good, a little dirty in places but nothing we can't handle. On the ascent to the Lick Observatory, our good friends from Caltrans decided to re-pave most of the hairpins & tight turns on the way up. That is good news & bad news. Good news is...NO POTHOLES OR DIVITS!!! Bad news is...FRESH OIL as indicated by signs & cones left in the road by the road workers. This is also indicated by the many tire marks I saw of other cars that got a little fishy up top. It is fairly slippery up there so be careful in those turns.

There were a lot of motorcycles & good amount of road cyclists from the San Jose side. The Porsche 944 club was out there today, so we won't have to worry about them next weekend!

http://www.vgr.com/lysl/fields/robertson.shtml</a
