Default Sunnyvale area independent service places ?

Hi,
I'm a new AWer and own a Santorin Blue 2000 A4, with 17" Ronal R7s. I live in the Sunnyvale area and maybe some of you have seen me - I regularly have a Thule bike rack on top. I've seen quite few of you around and have waved a greeting on occasion.

Anyway, on to my question - I would like to request recommendations on independent service places in my area. I used Stevens Creek Audi once, but wasn't exactly overwhelmed - I'm ideally looking for a place where I can get regular service done while I wait, not leave my car and get back.

While a STFA gave me several accounts of dealers, I didn't find much about good independent shops in my area. Thanks in advance!

Default See Jason @ Streetwerke in Palo Alto. I have not personally been to his new shop; but, he handled a

repair for me when he was GM at New Dimensions and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to him. Good Man!

Default Streetwerke is definitely the best - check out streetwerke.com for contact info

Josh, the tech there, had worked on my car since I've had it, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The whole crew is great.

Default Yeah, I'd recommend both places.

Streetwerke more for the "tuning" side of things... (they are near the Palo Alto Fry's)

European Auto Works for more of the normal "maint" sort of stuff... (they are across the parking lot from the old DSR location - if you knew where that was)

But both are very good.
