On the recommendations of Chimpzilla and others, I had my friend take her 97 Cabriolet there for a clunky front end, and CEL. I first spoke with Randy on the phone for her and he knew the car, what was probably the problem based on that model's reliability record. Ended up having the timing belt done along with a new radiator since that had a small leak..She wanted me to pass along how good she felt taking her car there and letting Randy take over. He went over the car and gave her a list of things that should be repaired, things that didn't have to be done but should at some point in time and things to look out for in the future. She also, in her words, said "that they don't appear to take advantage of a woman who is not a big car person." A big thumbs up to Advanced Audi.
