Default is there a way to find gps coordinates by inputing an address on some website?

i'm trying to find this house in the los gatos mountains, and mapquest, google maps, yahoo, and microsoft street and trips all don't know where the property is.

tomtom isn't having much luck either. but with tomtom, i'm able to input the latitude and longitude of a location and tomtom will take me there.

does anyone know of a site where i can just input an address and get the coordinates?

I would guess county gov't would have data on the prop's plat/survey. Thus try zillow.com?

Default take a step back.. you want driving directions to an address that doesn't show up on common maps?

good luck with that. Your best bet is to just find a known address close to the location and using that as your destination address.

But if you don't even know where that is, how do you know the property exists? Maybe you don't have the correct address? Maybe just call the City Clerk's office and have them verify the address.

Last option is to go directly to the source of the map makers.... TelAtlas or Navteq. On their websites, I'd assume that'd have the most up to date maps. If its still not there, maybe it doesn't exist.

How far we've come in such a short time. Wasn't too long ago we found our way by the stars.

Indeed. Young people don't have to learn to simultaneously drive and use a sextant. It's not easy!
