South Tahoe report (3/17-3/19/06)
Summary: Damn nice!
Went to Kirkwood on Saturday and it has the best conditions I've seen in quite awhile. Weather was perfect, light snow falling with intermittant sun. Best of all, not as crowded as the December, January crowds.
No chains needed. Roads nicely groomed. S4 with brand new set of Pirelli P-Zero Neros...no problem. No slips at all.
Fiancee had never done snowmobiling and tubing. Did that also and it was quite fun.
If you have a chance to go one more time before the season is over, I highly recommend it.

Agreed - looks like a great spring for skiing...
Did Alpine on Friday and Squaw on Saturday - got freshies both days (had to do a little hiking at Squaw but it was worth it). Saw a Dolphin B6 S4 in the parking lot at Squaw on Saturday... You out there?
