Yeah, it's all good. Just had to vent because I got the ticket while parked and I had a flat tire.
Besides, Audi's look ugly with front plates. I'll just pay the fine because I will not be oppressed by the man. Note to self, park off the streets in PA. Be stealthy when I go to Streetwerke. :-)

Here is what I tell the cops when they ticket me for that stuff.
I mention that it doesn't cost me anything, to which they look confused.
then I explain to them that I set aside money every year for the Police Athletic League and other police oriented charities.
Money I pay in tickets, plus time I spend dealing with them, comes directly out of that money.
so last time I got a ticket it was a $125 fix it ticket that costs the PAL $200.

It helps me deal with the annoyance. Seriously, it's a revenue issue, so just let them know you are
aware it's a revenue issue, and you are dealing with it by moving funds elsewhere.
Personally, I would prefer it if they just knocked on the window and demanded a $20, that would be more honest.
Keep in mind, the Palo Alto PD is moving into a new building, so they need money to finance that.
