Default ooking for a metric socket cap screw, size M6 - 1.00 X 85mm or 90 mm to hopefully save me $500

stripped a hole when installing the bi-pipe and there are threads left in the hole so rather then screw up this thing again I would like to try a longer bolt if not then I will have the hole retapped.

Default isn't that the same size used for an RS4 throttle body? There was a VW app as well . . .

like a cam cover screw or something . . .

I checked ETKA : Stock TB bolt is AM6x50, RS4 TB is AM6x65 - that's not long enough

Default Thanks guys for the help, I called and MrMetric had the bolt, there were enough threads left in the

hole, I just need another washer and then everything is golden. Thanks VR_Life for all of the help we will have to get that mc ride in before the weather turns for the season.

Default No probs - you need to keep fishing for that lost screw

Was talking to a local Ol'Skool chap the other day who lost a nut under the timing pulley cover and in the end bent 11 valves. __it happens, usually at the worst possible moment.

Just had surgery - riding is on hold for a week probably.

Cheers mate !
