Default Might get more responses if you were a little more descriptive

Kind of Adapter ? Water, Stereo, Oil, Nuclear Reactor Core ... ?
My 2c : A picture usually helps minimize time wasted playing 20 questions, quicker to get what you're after ...

Default Are you trying to use corded cell phone handsfree headset on your iPhone?

Corded cell phone handsfree are 2.5mm mono audio+mic (skinnier 3 electrical contacts), while iPhone is 3.5mm stereo audio+mic (thicker 4 electrical contacts). I went down this path when I first got my iPhone. If this is your case, what you need is:

- 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male. (Tho I'm uncertain of the positions of all the electrical contact standards on these plugs, and how they inter-play).

(3.5mm FEMALE to 2.5mm MALE are more common, and Central Computing has it. Alas that is the wrong gender)

I haven't been able to find this either and gave up to BlueTooth.

good luck

Default You obviously know where to get it.. why not just pay the $7 + shipping?

Or even monoprice.com has them...<ul><li><a href="http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=104&amp;cp_id=10401">http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=104&amp;cp_id=10401</a</li></ul>

Default Stereo audio only adapters exist. Audio + Mic? Ugh.. good luck with that one.

But BT is little better for driving anyways.
