Default Dealer recommendation in Davis/Sac? CVT took a dump.

Driving home tonight, my tranny decided to clock out- managed to roll to the side of the road, called Audi roadside, and in a mere 90 minutes, a tow truck came to help me- so, now my car's stuck in some unknown garage for the weekend until dealerships open on Monday.

Anyone got a rec for a good dealership? I know of Lasher and Niello- I just moved to Davis, so I need some place with good service, i.e. loaners, shuttle that can pick me up, etc. Who do you guys recommend?

Default Audi of Livermore

Went there a few weeks ago, nice place, no pushy sales guys, and had three service advisors on site.

Nice service area too.

Default 3rd. I used to live in Davis...

And made the 100 mile drive to Livermore Audi. Don't go to Lasher, they aren't very knowledgeable. And Niello is even worse. My friend's car was stolen there during a service visit. They thought it'd be great to just leave the keys in the ignition unlocked overnight.

Default Too late...the car's already at Niello...

Although I figure, since the car is flat out dead, there's not much choice but the nearest dealer.

The guy I talked with today was very customer service oriented, so I'm optimistic.

Default just look the car over carefully when it's done.

Niello is famous for...

1) CEL's on customer delivery (even for an Oil Change).

2) Wheels falling off because someone forgot what a touque wrench was.

3) Not filling the Brake Fluid after a brake job.

4) Customer Cars being stolen from the back lot.

5) Crappy Rentals from the Enterprise across the street (and not covering the whole price...(they don't cover Taxes))
