Default Carlsen or Stevens Creek?

I have an '04 A4 still under warrantee and need to get the usual warrantee stuff done. I bought the car at Carlsen (they had the one I wanted) no other preference. I took it in for the very first service at Carlsen and on the way home it was making a noise like the front wheel was loose so I turned around and brought it back. I told them the problem and they took the car in and messed with the front wheels and told me they couldn't find anything and that everything was OK. The whole time all they were worried about was whether I was going to give them the very highest rating or not on customer feedback! The noise magically went away. So I felt they were lying and covering up some poor workmanship. Since then, I have been going to S.C. and lately it just feels like you are going to the "McDonalds" of service departments. Get you in and out and tell you the story that works for them, with a smile, of course. So, should I give Carlsen another try (they're closer) or stick with S.C. This is all just regular maintence stuff, nothing major.

Thanks, Greg

Default I've been going to Carlsen for over two years with my 05 S4. No issues.

The trick is that if you give them a high rating, they do notice that and they will take care of you when you return. It does make a difference.

Default Roger Gray at Rector, the last two loaners I received were

a new boxter and an A8 with 12 miles.

Tell him Joe Cheung sent you and make sure you call ahead to reserve a loaner....usually an A3/A4 but he has a couple of other cars too

-Joe

Alwasy GREAT and honest service, even when I brought in my Modified B5 S4.

Can you do me a favor? Can you see what/how the '07 A3 Silver/Grey DSG Stevens Creek had a few weeks ago was optioned? Did they have one on the show room about 3 weeks ago?

TIA
