Default Thanks, pierreb, for the "new" shoes!!

Good to meet you today...I cleaned them up and put them on with the OEM lug bolts, seemed like I only got about 4 turns to tighten, so I pulled one out and used one you gave me, cone seat vs the OEM ball seat. I had to go back and swap them all out! Good thing, I don't know how well the others would have held over time.

I think an et35 would be perfect, but it looks good, a little outboard. I suspect machining the inner surface wouldn't be very smart.

Dang Pierre, I am glad I didn't hear that you were parting with those rims at the GTG. Are they 17s or 18s? Price?

18x8.5 ET30s.

I started a new car fund soon after the gtg, this goes to that

The rims were from VMR according to the first owner. I don't think a new set is huge $, but I'm not sure they carry that style anymore. I would ask Don@VelocityMotoring.com, he will know for sure.

Don't worry, tehA8pimp, I'll probably move on to something else next year. You want first dibs on the wheels?

If I stay with the C5, I am game for the rims. I might be consolidating to D2/D3 A8s. I will know more sometime this year when I make up my mind
