Skiing not mandatory (wife does not ski, I do)...however she has expressed interest in snowmobiling. Some sort of spa would probably be nice for her as well. Was imaging something like a small B&B or hotel - nothing too expensive or crowded. Any ideas? I don't know why Vermont jumped into my head? Kris, that your neck of the woods, no? Thanks in advance.

Default we enjoyed snow village inn in north conway

not a whole lot to do, but the food was good, and there is skiing and tubing and stuff really close by.

bonus for quattro driving if there's snow!

snow village inn

Stowe, VT... good skiing, lots of dining choices, too many spas and I bet there is snowmobiling!

Default Stowe is really nice, and it's not a huge drive from the airport in Burlington.

It's certainly more of an 'upscale' getaway area..

Default Just drove back from NH this weekend, stayed at Marriot wentworth by the sea

lotsa snow mobiling within 45 minutes but also in in the middle of kittery and downtown portsmouth. 1 hour from everything else you'd want too.

http://www.wentworth.com</a

Default Which makes it only a little more expensive than Killington..

Man, I remember when skiing was cheap, and fun. Now it's just way too expensive....

But the front 4 at Stowe are pretty wicked fun!
