ATTN MILLTEK & STRATMOSPHERE , Can you fix my exhaust please?
We still haven't received one with the proper pipe bends, my rear bumper has been damaged, as well as the fuel evap line due to your exhaust.
Also, the exhaust rattles like crazy on throttle, unless it is fully warmed up. We retorqued all the bolts and there is no issue there. It sounds like some loose baffles or materials inside the exhaust.
I took it to Hotrod & Speed Shop in Roslindale, and he said they see this kind of thing on cheap exhausts for Asian imports. Didn't make me feel good about my $2500 MIlltek.
Please contact Thomas at Roslindale Auto and let him know when you plan on making it right...thanks!

Despite hearing questionable comments, i've had good luck with Lou's exhaust. after they worked on my exhaust it has not moved or sagged at all. I'm getting downpipes for my car early next week and plan on calling them first.

i feel like its really rolling the dice when it comes to lous ... i had a terrible experience, but
my friend wanted to get his cheap ssautochrome DPs and exhaust installed ... and they said $200. after spending all day on the thing, they got them installed! and they stuck to their original word of $200 LOL ... if you dont know, DPs on a b5 s4 is very very very involved if you have never done them before

Lou's is WAY too risky b/c the quality of work is entirely dependent on which tech ends up working
on your car. Some are very experienced and good, others are young kids who have little to no idea what they're doing.
No way in hell I'd let them install downpipes on an Audi. Call a VW/Audi specialist like Advanced Technologies in Gloucester for example.

Thanks for the name. I'll give them a call. For what its worth- when I went to Lou's
in North Reading there was a rather big guy who drove one of those older V8 Impalas from mid 90s that did my work. He was very good and let me walk around the shop and under the car without complaint. I'm happy. His work seems good.
