could do better, much better......you greedy bastard....
110KM of cable; 1500 floodlights (4x as strong than Stadium lights); 230 Steel masts; total consumption = 3 Mega watts - that would support at least 2 fully grown houses for one year straight.....
Cost for Singapore - about $3.000.000,00 just for the electricity.
I'm surely no economist or look after every penny but that is a waste of resources.....that money could help some of the struggling tracks which might disappear from the calendar.....or even partially sponsor a US event :-)
:> end rant :-)

I'd love to see that, but that means it would broadcast at 0400 in Europe.
The whole point of his pushing night races in the far east is to accommodate the European market's viewing schedule. He was making noise about Melbourne needing to switch to a night race if they want to keep the GP, and China and Malaysia are probably not far behind.

Not green - using a word that's almost gone from the dictionary = common sense ;-)
seriously, this kind of money could help some of our tracks to attract F1......screw the European viewers, isn't F1 supposed to be a global entity?
And in what country do they sell most of the cars anyways?
BTW, Toyota and Honda finally got the idea by participating in US racing series.....so does Audi and Porsche but F1 seems to be slightly different....
