BMW R1200 GS

The bike felt like it had a built in gyro, i could hug corners and the bike would just stick. I think a lot of it is the horizontally mounted pistons and weight distribution.
The bike isnt a high revving screamer but the power delivery was insane.
Quick story about the bike: My bosses friend purchased it for ~$20k and the day he drove it off the lot he got hit by a mini van. The bike was totaled out and thats where my boss stepped in and bought it for $3K with 18 miles on the odo. $6K in parts and 1 week of DIY later the bike was good as new. I helped him work on this bike and i have to say a monkey could have rebuilt it. The way BMW engineered this motorcycle is astonishing and if i had the funds would be all over one.
Took it through the dirt and up a couple serious hills and the GS was flawless. It got a couple rock chips but who cares! this bike loves the dirt!
