Default So ya...Ninja 250's can do some pretty good wheelies.

Ooops. Went to lunch today, stopped at a light. Light turns green, I revved it a bit too much it seems (I wasn't trying to do a wheelie, just trying to get going quickly). I've done this before but the bike only picked up like an inch off the ground. Not this time Bike stood right up to the 12 o clock position and dumped my *** right off. Luckily it didn't land on me. I'm ok, but my *** is really sore as I landed right on it. Bike didn't get that messed up thankfully. front left set is broken, exhaust bent and some minsor scrapes. but none on the plastics.

Oh, I guess this can be my intro post as well! I'm Phil and have an 07 Kawasaki Ninja 250.

Default I feel so bad for laughing... that sucks dude! What did you dump the clutch at?

In the future, make sure you cover the rear brake when you want to launch the bike like that.

Ride safe and glad to hear you're okay!

Default either way it is going to suck...but it could have been worse

the person behind you at the light could have run you over.

Glad you're okay and hopefully you job does not require a lot of sitting.

Default Damn dude, what did you pop the clutch at?

when launching out of a light I usually just slip the clutch hard and just let it sorta catch then I pop it out. Launches really well. These clutches are meant to slip, its the only way to get these things moving
