Default Good Audi mechanic in Cleveland, Ohio

Need a good mechanic to take a look at my car. I am tired of the dealership...

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Default If you don't want to deal with dealerships...

You can try Euro Car Service (also ECS Tuning) over in Norton. Website: http://www.ecstuning.com You can call their 800 number and set up an appointment to have someone look at your car.

Another good place to go would be over at Smith's Import Specialists

Default Galati's BUTCHERED my '83 911

I wanted a valve adjustment. It can be done without dropping the engine, but it's easier to do with the engine dropped.

Galati's couldn't get my oil return tubes unfrozen so they CUT them and billed me for the replacements. They also had the car for two weeks for what should have been a 2-3 day service.

In the west 'burbs, I'd look at Autobahn Extremist in Rocky River (Porsche, Audi, VW, BMW only) Chris is a perfectionist and his prices are reasonable.

http://www.autobahnextremist.com</a

Default Don't bother with Smith's Import

I followed this and another post recommending Smith's Import Specialists; I was very disappointed!!! I had to chase the guy for two weeks before he even gave me a quote for the repair. Before I brought the car in, I was told that he can start working on it almost immediately. Unfortunately the car stayed on his lot, berried under a foot of snow for two weeks. He gave me the biggest runaround and eventually after those two weeks, I was told he won't be able to start working on it for another month or two....
Customer service is not existent! If you wanna be treated like dirt, then this is your place. Chris wasn't straightforward, not returning calls or replying to emails. It turned out to be just another struts and oil change shop.
If you care about your car and you, I'd go some place else...How about iAnnelli on the west side https://www.iautocars.com/. Dealership-like service minus the cost.

Any review on Iannelli? Or any shop new anyone on the west side of Cleveland can suggest? There is a place near me called Detzels Garage.

I just got an 02 A6 w/ 91K miles from an auction...and if I had to guess I'm due for the 90K mile maintenance incl timing belt, water pump, etc...

Thanks in advance!
