i am not such a good DIY'er. I can do what I need, just not that good. My caliper bolts fell off, that's what left me stranded downtown...I changed out the brakepads and rotors about 3 weeks ago (a guess) and thought the caliper bolts were on tight enough. guess not...thanks to induktion for "finishing" the job. you will never hear me bitch, moan, or complain again about my car...

Default fortunately, for this reason, I am more prone to overtightening!

Go get yourself a torque wrench, and whenever you finish a job, put it on the head of every nut/bolt/screw in sight, and make sure it's torqued correctly.

Glad you can laugh at yourself, and glad it's nothing serious.

If you just accepted my authority and let me boss you around, this could have been avoided.

Default I did the same thing on the A4 a couple years ago

i was stranded w/ my gf about 30 min from my house... had to have my dad find me a bolt (not the easiest thing to do late saturday afternoon) and bring it to me. Then he pointed and laughed at me since I should have known better.
