What a horrible way for the Caps to lose game 7!!!
I mean seriously who picked the refs? The Flyers??? That goal that made it 2-1 Flyers was the biggest crock of **** I have ever seen in all my years of being a hockey fan!! I mean it doesnt get to be more of a textbook goalie interference than that!!! Take that bull**** off the cards and the Caps win, way to let the teams decide game 7 refs!!!
If the Caps got outplayed in the game and deserved to lose then so be it but to lose on officiating just wow!!! I hope that linesman dies of gonorrhea and rots in hell

as soon as i saw the refs line-up, i cringed. yeah, the 2nd Flyers goal was questionable at best but
the Caps need to learn to play above and beyond the refs' influence. we've always seemed to be overly subjected to the will of the refs. if we could have scored more, we wouldn't give 2 ****s about the refs (maybe just 1 ****).
anyway, it was the Flyers' series to lose and they just about did. Caps were always just barely in it and were flat out-played for most of the series. before gm6, we'd only shown up for one period in each game and even in gm6, it was two periods, not three.
but they showed promise and next season is looking to be even better. it'll be interesting to see what happens w/ Huet, Cooke and Federov.

ha ha ha right
like I said on AWOT, it doesnt even matter that you guys won the series, your playoffs end here. You are going to get destroyed by the Habs just like in the regular season
