Default And I will be up there on Tuesday next week. Lemme know.

I will taking the S4 then but shouldn't be a problem if it fit in the A6. Wouldn't want in the bed of the truck unsecured overnight while at Donna's.

Oh, and tell my secretary she needs to come into office. I got a special assignment for her...

The hoist & engine stand is my donation to AWMA community... just make sure it's kept in the 'family'!

If you can talk Kristen's bro Mark into doing ACNA VIR, he's got BlueDog's old enclosed trailer...

Default uh... *could* matter in the front too.

Miata's stock cooling system are sized just big enough for stock pwr in non-desert weather. Add force induction or high ambient temperature, and overheating is common problem. 1 of the 'popular' cause is people taking off the shrouding. Ask any airplane mechanic and she'll tell you how important that is.

Other easy remedies (besides spending $$ on bigger radiator):
- flush system if there are any gunk in there
- make sure you got the right (not TOO much) glycol concentration
- people in the desert use H2O and water wetter in the summer. I may be going this route myself...

Default cool, well thank you, Dean!

Jim, I will email you tonight and work some things out.

As for Mark and ACNA, it'd be hard to persuade him to go when I myself am not going

Default yeah, very true...

guess it depends on how far back the radiator is from the nose, etc... but what have you.

other than the radiator being 20 yrs old, everything else in the coolant system was brand spankin' new 14k miles ago.

Regardless, when the motor comes back out again, I'll be fully flushing it again and making sure everything is good and clean before going back in again.
