Those of you in the Sterling / Dulles or Fairfax areas, have you experienced any blackouts? (more)

I'm just trying to determine whether I should hit one of those Costcos when my power eventually comes back on.

The McLean / Tyson's Corner / Vienna areas have been hit pretty hard. We haven't had power since yesterday afternoon, and there's no guarantee we'll even get it back by the weekend. There are pockets with power, but there are substantial areas without power, gas stations with inoperative pumps, and traffic lights out. It's a frickin mess!!

Default K and I stayed at Jim's house until ~12:30am last night just for the power...

...and the great company, of course.

Sterling didn't get affected (that I know of), and we were just in Fairfax (at BJs), so you SHOULD be okay.

Yeah, as Rob said, I couldn't get rid of him and Kristin last night, but we have power here.

Default Hit a Costco and pick up some battery operated lanterns for $15 like we did.

We didn't have power from 3pm -10pm on Wednesday.

Default No outage in South Riding, but my parents in Burke are still without power as of this morning.

I called around to several equipment renters like Capital Renters and Sunbelt (the one that stole Induktion's design :P), every office was out of portable generators for rent.

Why don't you be the good Korean son and invite them over to your place? )

Default *sigh* Even Korean women mock the 'good Korean son' image/duties/expectations.

Is it any wonder that Korean guys rarely marry a non-Korean?
