Default He was a racey little guy. He ran IMSA in the 1970s. Drive a Ford Capri.

Wonderful guy, but very quiet as an instructor. Mostly chatted about his kid and how the track was laid out 30 years ago. For my check ride, I got "Roc" from the Corvette museum, and he was much more involved in the teaching.

Default You were chipped!? And I pulled from you!?!?

Ummm, Adam...right? There were a few cars I never saw on track, for one reason or another. I gave a pass to a Nogaro S4 my 1st or 2nd lap...and got passes from Jody (B6 A4), Paula (Prelude), Ian? (red GTI), Hank (Lotus), aaand maybe one or two other cars...but don't recall running with the S-cars. :P

Actually, I think I have a video clip of you on the skidpad...I'll confirm via your car number and get it to you if you'd like. I also have a clip of Jody getting loose on the skidpad.

Default Nope, swapped to stock box at the track. I need to learn how to handle small amounts of power first.

Frankly, I think I would have been in a world of hurt with the chip in. I had enough power to do what I needed to do. Plus, the stock ECU gives you WAY more driveability...silky smooth power delivery and very easy to modulate the throttle. The chip doesn't offer that kind of control.

I was in car 07. If you have video, I'd love to see it. I was much better on the 2nd run - I hope you got that one :P

Default If you were far enough ahead of me, I wouldn't have filled your mirrors. ;)

Nice to finally meet you.
