It should've been easier, but I had to relocate the inboard 3-point belt receptacles to the tunnel. Sliders needed to have one extra hole drilled to match the floor. It took three trips to the hardware store and a lot of wrestling. Kudos to Strosniders -- good quality (Grade 5) hardware in metric sizes was available.
Stuff nobody tells you: You won't just need a hex-head tool. You'll need two or three of different shapes, because sometimes the head is under the seat.
Good news is that they look and feel great. Unexpected benefit -- they're about 3/4 inch lower which will mean more helmet room and with more room under the steering wheel, heel-toe action is easier.
Special thanks to Jretal for the delvery!

I'll be doing mine tomorrow...
definitely some fabrication needed on my end to since the A4 1.8T's have different brackets on the passenger side since they don't come optioned for power seats... Expecting about an inch drop in seat height over the old setup.

I can take end-of-job pics but I didn't take them in process. The hardest stuff was stupid...
... crap like the seatbelt buckle interfering with the seat's ability to slide. I had to remove the inboard adjustment handle (these are articulating seats) to get it to work.

PS: An amazing product to have around -- two part soft bumper repair epoxy.
I originally got this stuff to fix a nick in a plastic bumper cover. I've since used in on a huge range of issues. It is two part, works like peanut butter and hardens to a hard but flexible plastic. It can fill holes and act as an adhesive. Cool stuff.

This stuff.
