New clutch and transmission are in!
The A4 isn't driveable quite yet though, I started on the job at 12:30 today, had to leave at 6pm when the dealer closed it's doors. Just going to have a tech complete the work on Monday at my cost.
Left to do:
-Torque bell housing bolts down
-Install transmission mounts/brackets
-Slide starter into place and bolt down
-Torque motor mounts down
-Torque axles and driveshaft into place
-Put front wheels on
Then the car will be drivable... I'll install the 034 motor mounts, bleed the clutch, and reinstall the DTS. All in all the techs at work were quoting 12 hours of labor for the job, and I got 80% of it done in around 6 hours. Woot. Thanks to Tomasz for stopping by to help, I was justing dropping the trans when he stopped by, definitely was easier lining everything up with him there.
R.
P.S. A big fail to AASCO Motorsports for using standard hardware on their flywheel friction surfaces.
P.P.S. A big Woot to Southbend Clutch for the free clutch kit, and AXIS Motorsports for the motor and trans mounts.
