Default Febreeze is amazing stuff for removing rocker panels!

PS: This is the price you pay for an air cooled car. The oil does all the cooling!

Very true. Porsche got it right in 1984.

Default ...but I read on the intArweb...

...that rubber, braided lines offer no cooling.

Default I won't tell your air cooled brethren that you said this. I rode behind a 928 this morning.

It was in nice shape, with silver paint. But it had snow/ice all over it which means it sat outside in the storm. That's a shame.

Default OK, what Bob said but fix the crimped line with the magic Dorki fix using heat and compressed air.

Keep the car looking beautiful!<ul><li><a href="http://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showthread.php?t=13055">http://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showthread.php?t=13055</a</li></ul>

Default Last time I did something with compressed air, I ended up mopping up the garage floor for an hour.

I'm not worried about them. Anyone who tracks their SC has already addressed this issue. P

Default I know braided steel lines won't help the cooling. The better oil cooler will do that and the steel

lines are to prevent the crimping issue you currently have.

Default I'll start with the cooler first. If it still gets too hot in the summer, I'll replace lines.

Hoppy now? ;o)

Might want to clean the lines and the trumbone? Dirt/grease is a pretty good insulator.
