heading home from band rehearsal last night, a deer decided to play frogger on rt 28 north in manassas right near the library.

first time in almost 20 years of driving that i've hit a deer. i'm still a bit miffed at my reaction time. i saw her coming out of my left eye's peripheral view and hit the brakes, i guess not hard enough. right-front meets deer's right-rear. no blood, so hopefully it wasn't a fatal blow. yes, that's fur stuck between the fender and the lens.

could have been much worse, i suppose.
