I really hate drivers of the previous gen Subaru WRX STi. What a bunch of morons

Am I reading you guys right?
Ok, that STi driver's a D-bag. I never refuted that, and should have emphasized more earlier.
But did I just hear you two concurring on:
<i>"See, I get that people see me going fast and want to keep up with me...so that I fish out cops for them. I usually catch on to that nonsense real quick and slow down (no brakes) to 65 or whatever the speed limit is, then set cruise until they get annoyed enough with me and move on. I get that. I do that to people all the time..."</i>
Maybe I'm just a Socialist no-good Commie by heart, but I say 'take some, give some'.
Many times I enjoy letting others be the 'point man' and following them. But occasionally I need to put my own neck out there and be the 'point man' myself, for others. I got no problem if I'm cruising by traffic slightly faster, and someone in the traffic decides to speed up and chase me and use me as the 'point man'... NOT RACE, but follow & keep up. And after a while of this, we might swap places... all gradual & benign-like.
The way I'm reading it, you are not allowing them to do that?
If I then started slowing down, after noticing them keeping up with me... then I can see how they could become frustrated. The mature ones might just give you a look of 'wtf?' as they pass. The immature ones...
Maybe I'm just reading what you wrote wrong...
Yes, circling your car and blipping throttle to provoke... is retarded.

You are absolutely reading me right. And yes, you are a socialist commie. :)
Why put yourself out there for <i>any</i> risk at all for a ticket if the other guy is willing and stupid enough to assume all the risk for you? No, you don't ever need to be the point man. Why should you be? To be courteous? You'll never see the person again. To trade places to be fair? Not like he's going to stop and thank you after the cop pulls you over and say "thanks man, I appreciate it, tough luck." When it comes to cops and tickets, unless I'm driving along with my brothers or close friends, I will never put myself out there for some total stranger on the road. Risk avoidance my friend. The more you avoid, the better off you are. There's not one good reason that I can think of to be a point man for a stranger on the road.
