Default I need a recommendation for a restaurant.

I'm going on a date and want to attend somewhere that's not too expensive (as this girl isn't really into the flashy expensive lifestyle), very chill atmosphere, and really good food (preferably something italian or southern creole based).

It can be in the DC/Metro area or the Annapolis area.

Default Indigo Landing

Southern inspired food, incredible atmosphere on the water and awesome drinks. Go to Gravelly point afterwards to watch the planes land.

Thank me later.

Default If in Annapolis...

<a href="http://rockfishmd.com/">The Rockfish</a> is nice, not too fancy, and decently priced (sub $100 for 2 w/ decent bottle of wine).

If you're into sushi...check out <a href="http://www.urbanbites.com/showProfile.asp?ID=282">Nano</a> or <a href="http://www.josscafe-sushibar.com/">Joss'</a> on Main Street. Both are very good, but Joss' is a little more pricey and tight for seating room.

If you want casual dining (crabs?), do NOT go to Buddies...but rather <a href="http://www.phillipsfoods.com/">Phillip's</a> on the City Dock. A little pricey, and a hair fancy...but not jacket or black tie.

If the weather is nice, and outdoor dining is an option, I've been a fan of the Tea Room at <a href="http://www.ramsheadtavern.com/annapolis/index.html">Ram's Head</a> off West St. It can get busy and cigar-smoke laden after 8-ish, but it's def a chill place w/ good house beer.

Good luck, and remember...just be yourself and don't try too hard. :P
