The whole subdivision was build in '89 by the same company.
I looked at all the other houses, none of them had any cracking visible. I even toured one of the other houses for sale on the same street and it looked like new, but it was $820k too.

no! I'm still considering lowballing an offer at some point :)
go to realtor.com and do an advanced search for single family, 3 car garage, in Fairfax for up to $700k. It'll be the only one that matches 100% :P

put in an offer on a nice place last week; sellers countered too high...
then we countered again, but they really didn't budge -- some BS about a builder telling them what to sell their place for.
We were about $20k off in the offers, yet we were right in the middle of their listed "range".
And I don't normally read AWMA, it was a TOF link to this thread that got me here in the first place
