After a year without this event, I want to determine interest for this summer. First Question is July or August date? Drive or no drive event? eastern or western shore event? Who is willing to help organize this year, etc. TIA

the summer social calendar is always full of weddings etc.

Unless we can organize an autocross or something interesting I could go either way on a cruise. Oh - how about a <a href="http://www.ehow.com/how_136153_organize-car-rally.html">fun rally</a> or a <a href="http://www.whackysports.com/activities/auto_gymkhana.asp">gymkhana</a>.

What shore is less important than the actual venue being appropriate though I am sure most people are obviouly on the western side of the bay.

Another idea could be to make it a waterfront cookout but that makes more work as well.

I defintely want to help organize. We just need to pick a date so I can get it on the calendar so wifey doesn't double book me.
