Audi Club Shenandoah Circuit This Weekend?

Professer, you must factor in mushy suspension! If it loads up on teh rise and then...
... unloads over the hump, won't the tires be more likely to remain in contact with the pavement?
I agree, though, that without the suspension dynamic, weight is irrelevant.
PS: I once read that early car designers (1920s) thought that a heavier car would go faster. Dumb humans.

I was told by a guy behind me that I was getting a foot off namely in the rear.
I just kept it to the floor, straight and to the right, which was flat and better entry for the bowl.

i still hear ppl saying...
...how a heavier car will have better cornering grip because of the extra wgt over the wheels. <roll eyes>
Yeah, for small amplitude, short period bumps... the suspension's job is to do exactly that... keep them tires on the ground!

I haven't noticed any ill wear on the pads, but haven't put a thermo gauge on the rotors
it goes away at higher speeds, but if i lightly tap the brakes, it will come back. It's like the pad is cocked ever so slightly, causing the noise.
If I push on the 9:00 on the wheel and pull on the 3:00 position, the noise will go away. But when I reverse that and pull at 9 and push at 3, it gets worse.
Curious if it could be pad deposit on the rotors, but I can't bring myself to turn a pair of rotors that have like 2k miles on them.

AS said below, Money. And...
I guess I don't really chase that last second at a DE (unless I'm futiley chasing Wonger). So, why not just be out there having fun on R888s or something.
