Default For all you track junkies out there, Just got back from Calabogie Motorsports Park (in Canada)

Another member posted this about the track in the New England forum. The track is a fantastic track and is up there with VIR interms of complexity and requiring smooth driving. Great experience and worth the trip IMHO!

Here's a link to some track videos :

Sorry, don't know how to do multiple url links.

Default looks a bit more technical than VIR. My buddy went this weekend and tore a tire on second run...

...with no luck getting a replacement, he drove 16hrs for 1 session in the rain. poor bastard.

Default You're talking about Bennett? You're Matt then right?

Yup pretty lousy situation to be in. Could have been a lot worse though.

Default Yep - that would be me. Cant tell by board name, but are you the good Dr. John?

yes - could have been a much worse situation. Benn was totally freaked out - very upset/nervous. He was still pretty banged up (sounded) when i talked to him yesterday.

If you good doctor, are the mentioned above, when are you getting the Cayman?

Default Uh, that would be me LOL altho the "good " part is questionable.

Bennett did seem shaken. I think he had concerns about what might have happened on a higher speed section of the track. He game me the impression that he took it off the track voluntarily but perhaps he was going off the track and "saved it" instead in which case i can see how he could be shaken? I didn't want to press. Maybe Anthony knows better? I see from your sig you were at VIR ?
