I was coming around a turn on a back, some guys on a street bike were coming around the same turn. One of the guys obviously couldnt ride, came into my lane. I swerved, hitting a telephone poll at about 45. Split the poll right down the center.

Thanks to 12 air bags..lol i was not injured at all.

2 air bags came out, looks like oil pan is busted, i kno i will need, 2 fenders, bumper, hood, head light, fog lights, intercooler, and radiator..I wont be going threw the insurance.

I will be doing an RS4 steering wheel, to replace mine, carbon fiber fenders, and hood. S4 bumper with the RS mod, and the icing on the cake...RS4 ic's : )

Anyone think they can see, or might think of anything else, to check..please let me kno..thanks

p.s. how is the pass. side airbag replaced ? (broke the windshield when it came out)

Default sorry to hear, good you're OK

But that seems like an awful lot of damage to pay for out of pocket.

Default OMG i;m so sorry, glad your ok though, thats most important

i think you might want to go through insurance cause it looks like there may be frame damage. might be better to just get it totaled and then try and find another car. It may not be too safe to drive after that.

Default Wow. Glad no injuries. That car could easily be totalled. You have a big project in front of you

if you expect to bring that back to life on your own. Big in both $ and effort. Talk to Tony - he's put together a car that was hit.

Default Whoa. Glad you're okay.

As others have said, that's going to be big coin to put back together out of pocket. You may want to total it and start over from scratch.

Default shoulda just hit the biker :-P

just kidding...

glad you're ok man, that sux. If you hit the pole at 45 mph though you def tweaked the frame, esp w/ an offcamber hit like that... for safety reasons, that puppy is toast I'd think, though I could be wrong. Body shop would be able to tell you though.

hits close to home too cuz that looks too close to my car
