+ 1 for Rockville Audi and Diego
Took my 2005 CPO S4 into Rockville Audi in January for its 55k mile service. I also had a complaint about a clunk noise when going over bumps that is accompanied by a nice creak as well.
They advised me sway bar endlinks and upper control arm bushings were to blame at ~ $1500 to fix. I agreed with problem, but not the price.
I thought it fair to pay for endlinks but not the bushings. My car was in at 45k miles for the clunking noise and at that time I was told it was normal. Had the bushings been at fault then - it would have been covered under factory warranty.
After a few days of negotiating with the Service Advisor Diego and Manager they agreed to cover half the bushing charge which I agreed to. The car was ready a week from the day I dropped it off.
When I took delivery of the car the receipt for payment showed original charges + half of covered repair, rather than minus the covered half so I expressed concern. Diego and Service Manager were not present so my credit card info was taken and I was told to expect a call.
Call never came - charge never applied to credit card. I reached out a few times over the last 45 days and had not heard back until today.
Diego called today and informed me that he had discussed it further with the service manager and now its covered under CPO. I owe $50. SWEET.
Thank you to Rockville Audi for working with me and I recommend you use them for service, and if not happy, remain calm, use respect, state your case, and you may get lucky like I did.

Your last line is always true
People should default to remaining calm, and being respectful. It goes A LOT further than raising your voice and turning quarrelsome with the person.

They had my car for a week. They hadn't charged me a dime so nothing to stress about.
I was checking in every 2 weeks or so to make sure they didn't forget about me.
