If you don't DIY, then just go find a local mechanic shop who can manage German cars. Audi has gone to using 0W30 oil at the dealerships. I ordered an OEM/Audi oil change kit from FCP Euro, and it arrived as the 0W30, which is too thin for my southern climate. Normal oil weight on this Q7 is 5W30, and it needs to meet extended drain/life and VW oil spec 7 for a TDI, or VW oil spec 5 for gas engines. Even if you don't DIY, you can still order the correct oil change kit for your car, which provides the correct bits for this car. I've used Castrol, VW/Audi OEM oil, and have settled on the Liqui Moly 5W30 for both of our Q7 TDIs. It is worthwhile to use an oil flush product the first time you change it (two bottles of the LM oil flush/due to large oil capacity of car), which removes varnish buildup and any other crud from the engine.
