    My 2001 Audi A6 Quattro is not heating up to temperature. It comes up to the first mark above cold and may go up to the next Mark at times but does not heat up to the center mark like it used to. Is this a thermostat problem? I topped off the coolant level to max level. And still won’t heat up to normal temperature. Any help will be appreciated. Oh, one other question, can I replace the thermostat without removing the front end?

    2001 A6 real bad fuel smell, can’t locate.
