They are pricing it about $1,000-$2,000 higher than I thought, but I suspect they had to put new tyres on the car as well as the usual ‘recondition’ service. Can you negotiate pricing with Carvana or is it like Autonation Used pricing which is fixed?
That shipping cost is outrageous tbh.
It’s a fantastic specimen and I can throughly recommend it, BUT: you can probably find a CPO locally for the same price and without having to pay shipping.
You could also consider flying in to wherever it’s located and driving it home, followed by an Audi extended warranty from a local dealership.
I bought, actually leased the car from Molle Audi, also known as Audi of Kansas City. I bought out the lease before the end as I liked the car so much. Molle were great to deal with and get service from.
The other, newer dealer here in the area is Shawnee Mission Audi and I used them 2X for service as they’re slightly closer to my house.
If I see my car pop up I’ll let you know, as I’m not always sure Carvana lets you view vehicles they actually have in stock if they’re over a certain distance away.
Thanks, Dave, appreciate it. I'm at vincent dot scordo at gmail dot com (just in case). I'm going to look into calling a few Audi dealerships to see what they would charge (did you like the Audi dealership you bought from in Kansas?).
I’ll look for my car on Carvana every couple of days in case they keep it within a localised area and let you know if I see it. I think buying a car like mine and then getting an Audi extended warranty would be the way I would go, although I also don’t know what types of warranty Carvana would have on the car.
Thanks, Dave, for all the detail. And great to meet you here. I've been reading through some of your other posts and they are very helpful. I'll keep checking Carvana over the next couple of weeks to see if it appears. I'm in New Jersey, I think I saw in one of your threads that you're in Kansas.
I've been looking for a MY19 eTron Prestige for a few months. I'd love to get one with a little bit of new car warranty left and then buy an Audi extended warranty (I'm thinking that may be cheaper that buying a MY19 with no warranty left and then trying to purchase an extended Audi warranty). Have also thought about possibly purchasing the Carvana (or CarMax) warranty, but in truth don't know if I could get car serviced/fixed at Audi dealership.
Glacier White with Black leather interior; Prestige package; Cold weather package and 21” wheels.
AudiCare thru’ 2/24, 3 annual maintenance visits and 2 TSBs/Recalls which were the OLED rear light bar replacement and Firmware update.
Will need tyres very soon if Carvana don’t replace them. It has the OEM Continentals on it and they are a decent tyre. I was going to replace them with Michelins had I decided to keep the car.
Still showing 215 mile range at 100% SoC in 80F ambient temps. Has never been L3 charged.
There is one small ‘divot’ at the upper extreme of the windshield in the black area above the mirror. It is about 3-4mm in diameter and of course can’t be seen from inside the car; in fact it’s difficult to see from outside the car also. I was going to have Safelite repair it but was told it might cause more harm than good given its location, and to leave it alone as it won’t get larger.
I've been looking for a used MY19 etron prestige. Saw you sold it to Carvana, maybe I'll see it on the site soon - can I ask what color combo it is (or maybe even VIN so I can identify it?). I like you've been the only owner and it's been reliable thus far....
