Regarding the exhaust, it has been a great addition to thecar. I previously owned a 2011 Maxima and also upgraded the exhaust and the issue I had with it was there was only one sound level. Loud.
With the AWE Switchpath, it gives you the option of adjusting the sound and the expected performance level. With exhaust open, you will hear it, but it is not overly loud and obnoxious. With it closed, it is slightly louder than stock which is great for the winter morning during cold starts.
Performance wise, I already had a APR tune so the gains were not really noticeable (but they state 12-15hp), but with the exhaust open, it does add 4 additional HP (not significant or noticeable)
