I used a mirror tap for radar detectors that has (2) sets of power tapping pins (smaller and larger). Use the ones that fit your mirror connector best and the other set connect to a small converter with a mini USB connector for my dash cam and wire that reduces the mirror 12 Volt to the mini USB 5 Volt. The converter and wiring fits nicely inside the plastic cover. Bought on EBay and do not remember where I got it.
When all done the only things showing are radar detector connector and dash cam connector both on about an 8 inch wire.
I have run wires up my A pillar in the past without a powered mirror. If you have a powered mirror a mirror tap is the smartest way to go by far.

Hello - very interested in your Q3 overhead dash cam connection. I have a 2020 Q3 with auto adjusting mirror. How did you connect cam to mirror power?

    Hi Allan,
My 2011 has only 1 sensor and it is on the left front. I bet yours is the same.

    Hello Sir,

First time Audi owner (2015 Q5). I just wanted to ask you a simple question, which is not as apparent on the forums. My Q5 needs back brakes, which is not the issue, I am just wondering if Q5 brake sensor has them on the back and the front or just the front.

Thank you in advance and I apologize for messaging you directly, but you seem to be one of the Audi gurus.

    Be safe!
    Allan
