Sorry Rich, I have no manuals. That would jinx the fact that I work by the seat of my pants....so to speak. Haha.
Try Jugle. He's the Aussie who helped me sort out servicing the front-middle-rear diffs a while back. He had pages from the Bentley books he duplicated somehow.

    All the best, Haya....

    Hey falcon,

You've helped in the past. Wondering if you have a Bentley manual as I need to replace some coolant parts in the rear of the v6 in my 2006 A4 Cabrio. It would be great to get some pertinent pics of the repair manual, thanks in advance.

Spuds, I'm unfortunately not much of an expert on A/C systems. I do know the compressor spins all the time on these Audi's and the cooling cycle is controlled by a by-pass solenoid valve on that is mounted on the compressor housing. (There is no conventional compressor clutch.) Check fuses and wiring connections closely. Has anything been worked on lately that might have disturbed something on the A/C electrical connections?

Otherwise, I suggest a knowledgeable A/C shop. These VAG A/C systems are tricky. Find a shop that has good VAG A/C experience. Good luck and let me know how it goes, Haya....

Hey - any chance in your A4 adventures you have dealt with AC issues. The A4 2L - 2006 AC will not start cooling. I have a charged system, fans working correctly, climate control indications correct and operational - heated seat and vent selections seem to switch correctly and indicate correct. Pressure Sw/Tx (Rad) new and functioning. I am wondering if the damper position actuators can interfere with the AC compressor start? I cannot rule out the compressor - but simple - less expensive solutions preferred. Any suggestions? Greatly appreciated.
