Hello how are you doing today somebody referred me to ask you I have a 05 Audi A8 with the 4.2 i just got the car recently I'm having an issue with my cluster from time to time I can start it up and my cluster screen works just fine but after about 15 minutes it turns red I have turn the car off and on a few times and then it goes back to normal but about 15 minutes later it shuts off and goes red the shop is saying it needs a whole new cluster cuz there's a communication error and my friend that I got it from says the shop told him it's a wire if you have time to message me back I would appreciate it and thank you for reading

​​​​​​My guess is the big black connector connects to the RVC module, the little black connector connects to the OEM rear view camera, the little o-ring connected with the red gourmet is the ground, The two tiny grey cables without connectors are what connect to the CAN low and CAN high on the PDC unit. That leaves only the grey with the silver edge, and from my understanding it is not compatible with my situation. am i right ?

So what harness can i buy?

I know these are alot of questions but any help will be much appreciated.

​​​​​​Since i am using the Fakra female to RCA cable on the rear view aftermarket camera, the RCA part connects to the rear view camera, and the fakra female part connects to the grey fakra male on the RVC module. Is that right ?

Since i do not have a tv tuner, that means i can leave the brown Fakra connector on the RVC module empty. Is that right ?

So now my problem what cable or wiring harness do i use i plug in the big black connector on the RVC module, and the CAN low, CAN high on the PDC unit ?

Hello haggiuk, i looked at your thread on forum.a8parts.co.uk on factory reverse camera retrofit on the D3. It is quite well presented but i am lacking some information to do this project.
I own an 05 3.0 tdi D3 european, and i do not have a Tv tuner nor adaptive cruise control. My question is: is there any wiring harness i can buy to connect the RVC module 4E0910441, the PDC unit 4E0910283C, and the rear view camera itself (aftermarket with Fakra Female to RCA cable) ?

Because from my understanding, the green fakra from the MMI head unit interface in the glove box connects to the the green fakra male connector in the middle of the RVC module. So far that´s what i am 100% sure of.
