My 2012 Q7 s' (QUATRO TFSI)right lamp suddenly stopped working. however it woud sometimes come on if i drove on a road strip with corrugation. Two days back all the lights, including daytime running lights wouldn't come on. Only the left headlamp and indicators and the right side mirror indicator lamp worked. We found the xenon bulb having had expired, but when we tried to put back the light ballast it caused the lights not to work again. Might it be the ballast is damaged? what other vehicle uses the same ballast type - part number - 8KO941 597B?
