Hey Dreads! Just started looking for a tow vehicle and your posts are super valuable and helpful.
I'm pretty convinced on a Q7, but since I'll be towing 7000 lbs at times (that's what I'm buying it for) and will be in Colorado also (up and down hills), and will be adding the Webastos system, it'd be great to be able to talk with you.
You're super knowledgeable and a convo with you would be invaluable. I'll try to friend you, but if there's any chance I could chat on the phone it'd be great.

New to the site, I wanted to PM but I haven't found how to PM. I am currently looking into installing A Webastos into my 2015 Q7. The Kufatec wiring harness is now in the $300CND range. Would you happen to have the part number of all the connectors, I don't require the telestart connector as it comes with the telestart kit. In the Kufatec wiring kit there's also a connector which I have no idea what its for. You have a picture of it in your forum post (whole shebang) but no where else do i see that connector and after reviewing the connection diagram, i can't figure where it goes.

Thanks for all your contributions to this forum. I think I messaged you via the VCSD locator webpage at dreadlocks+vagcom@gmail but it's been a week and I hadn't seen a reply. I also own a '14 Q7 TDI that I proactively bought a new battery for, but have been unable to coordinate the vcsd coding. I have already reached out to all the west side contacts on that webpage with no results. If you can help me out, can you send me a quote for your time for the battery programming? I am also interested in some of the other coding unlocks, like gauge sweeps and fob/window upgrades, if you could recommend any others, I'd be interested to hear.

If this is something you no longer are able to offer, I understand.

Thanks for all your posts. Your insight on wheel and tire setups for the Q7 are very helpful.

I'm looking to downsize to 18's on my MKII 2017 Q7 and upsize to all terrain tires with 265/65/18 (31.5") and from your past post, you sound pretty confident they will fit without any rubbing or interference as long as offset is appropriate?

Can you also describe driving impressions on all terrains in a Q7 compared to the stock 20's and performance minded tires?
